We stopped by this cafè to grab some ice cream. The other shop down the street was super busy with line out the door. Luckily this one was not crazy busy, and we got our ice cream within a few minutes. We saw that the cafe offers much more than just ice cream. But our review only applies to their ice cream since that was all we got. their waffle cones tasted very good! And each scoop of ice cream was packed fully. We had two different flavors, praline and cream, and ores cookies flavors. I highly recommend the ice cream.
When i first came here and tasted their cheesecake I made it a point whenever I am in Carmel I need to stop and buy my fave cheesecake. Then on whenever I have visitors this is a MUST place to visit!!! Now my son is following in my tradition. Service is the best! Place is clean.
Amazing coffee and even more amazing experience here. The staff at the register was so kind. Nice woman at the register let me heat up a quiche I bought from the farmer's market nearby - but the market quiche was served cold! Lady at the register was so so kind and even offered to plate my quiche for me. If you're in the area - come here. Reasonable prices for the area, and great quality coffee. Haven't tried their quiche, but next time I'm in the area, I'm coming here for breakfast first!
Popped in on a Friday morning. Walked right up to the counter and before I had laid my drip coffee was waiting. Amazing! Quick and easy in and out. Perfect for grabbing and going. Ordered a chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll. Inside feels very deli/cafe like with a casual, friendly vibe. The croissant had the most chocolate I've ever had in a choc croissant! That's a huge win!!! The cinnamon roll earned an "alright" from my wife. Brewed coffee was a smidge weak but still earned an "I'll be back"!
Carmel is a place that helps me relax and breathe. The quaint restaurants and expensive shopping can only successfully be concluded with good coffee and desserts and this place offers exactly that at reasonable prices! #supportlocal Loved their desserts, hot chocolate and coffee. Huge portions to share and not too expensive for the location they are at. Clean restrooms, friendly staff and decent seating space indoors. Would love to try their ice creams next time!!
It was a good place and the food was good enough, we were mostly disappointed in the portion sizes, we were expecting a filling lunch but felt like we didn't get much Maybe just order a bagel lol But ambiance was pretty if you want a cute date spot
Cafe Carmel is one of my favorite places to go in Carmel-by-the-Sea I went there with my friend, I got their cappuccino and Roasted Beet Salad and my friend had their Iced Latte and Hearty Panini. Everything that we ordered was delicious! Their interiors is absolutely gorgeous and the service is always amazing! I highly recommend you to visit this beautiful Cafe
